5-a-side football:

Good contest and well supported. The runner up plate was a good idea and encouraged more to stay to the end of the competition.

District Fishing Competition:

There will be a District fishing competition this year for Cubs and Scouts on 19th September at 5-ways Lakes. This will be a Miller trophy scoring event. Drawing for pegs will be at 11:00 with the fishing from 12:00. Fishing will end at 16:00 and the presentation will be at 16:30. Over 13’s need a rod license but Paul Merchant can arrange this if required – contact Paul by email if this is wanted.  Cost will be £3 per peg.

Malvern Challenge:

We need someone to coordinate the district entry for next year as Tony is unable to do it.  The suggestion is to book in as individual groups but camp as a District although this will mean we have to do more duties.

Camping / Cooking Competition:

Teams need to be at 5 Ways Lakes by 09:00 when the areas will be allocated, each team will have an area of approx. 10 x 30m.  Cost will be £3.75 camp fee + cost of breakfast food, individual teams will need to have their £2 per head + £2 for the evening meal as well. Cost for adults will be £6.50 including food.  The camping sites will be cleared by 14:00 on Sunday.

Health forms must be done for each person attending – adults included.  Copies to be on camp and supplied to Dawn Williams (Home Contact). Individual Nights Away forms to be done and supplied to Clive 7 days before the event.

Bear Trek – 14th November:

There is a new format for this year and we can enter as many teams as we want. Details are still being finalised.

Registrations are on 30th September at Bulkington. Tony has entry forms if you require them
